Intermediate German: First Quarter

Upon the completion of this Quarter, students will be able to discuss a wide range of topics of interest with patient native speakers and express themselves well in longer-form writing. Students will have refreshed their skills in fundamental grammar topics and strengthened their knowledge of some of the trickier bits of German, such as adjective agreement and word order in subordinate clauses. Students will also have a wide range of famous German texts under their belts, including poetry, short stories, and music.

Note: Students who wish to enroll after the enrollment date will be accepted, but students are strongly encouraged to enroll by the enrollment date. Early enrollment can guarantee that a class has met its minimum enrollment to run and can allow students to participate in selecting a meeting time.
